What counts as a unit?

Each rental unit you manage in Shuk counts as one. That includes single-family homes, condos, and individual apartments within a multi-family building. Vacant units count while they are actively managed in Shuk.

How does the volume pricing work?

Your per-unit rate steps down automatically as your portfolio grows, from $5 per unit at 1 to 4 units down to $2 per unit at 31 to 40 units. There are no plans to choose and no upgrades to manage. Above 40 units we build pricing with you directly.

Do I have to ask for the volume discount?

No. The lower rate applies automatically the moment your portfolio crosses a threshold, across every unit you manage, with nothing to request and no plan to switch. If you are above 40 units, book a demo and we will put together pricing that fits your portfolio.

Are there setup fees or hidden charges?

No. There are no setup fees, no ACH transaction fees, no per-payment processing charges, and no premium tiers. The per-unit price is the total cost.

Do you really charge nothing for ACH payments?

Correct, and on both sides. You are not charged to receive rent by bank transfer, and your renter is not charged to send it. This is not tied to a premium tier the way it is on most platforms, where $0 ACH only arrives on the most expensive plan. On Shuk it is included at every unit count. Card payments stay available for renters who want the flexibility. Those carry a 3% + $0.30 processing fee, paid by the renter and shown in full before they confirm, and paying by card is always optional.
