The question for your portfolio: is your operating constraint ledger discipline (where Rentec built its reputation) or vacancy prevention and tenant accountability (where Shuk's predictive intelligence and two-way reviews matter more)? If your CPA insists on QuickBooks sync and trust accounting depth, Rentec earns its place. Not natively yet. Rentec's QuickBooks integration is a real advantage for landlords whose accountants live in QuickBooks. Shuk's Financial Reporting and Expense Management cover the operational P&L use case with Schedule E categorization and exportable reports, and a direct QuickBooks integration is on the roadmap. If QuickBooks sync is the deciding factor, Rentec wins that line item today.
Below 12 units, yes. At 1 to 12 units Shuk's $5 per unit flat beats Rentec's $55 to $65 monthly minimum.
